Vallejo, under a different name, was
first registrared as a commercial vessel
in Portland, Oregon. She may have been
pre-fabricated in Europe and brought
by ship via the Cape of Good Hope to
Portland, Oregon where she was assembled.
She launched in the Willamette River
in 1879. |
