1949 the Vallejo has sat on the Sausalito bank. She had
been inhabited by artists, poets, and philosophers who
left her to deteriorate. In 1999 a corportation bought
her from the most recent derelict landlord, Orley Lindgren,
and began home improvements. It is impossible,
really, to know where to start on a rennovation as large
and seemingly impossible as this. |
